Remote Hydrants

Roadmap

The Remote Hydrant System is more than a new tool—it’s a collaborative step forward in modern wildfire management. Our implementation roadmap focuses on partnering directly with agencies, Incident Management Teams, and equipment vendors to ensure seamless integration into existing firefighting operations.

Building Collaboration for Real-World Impact

The Remote Hydrant System is designed not only as a breakthrough in water delivery but as a scalable, agency-ready solution that fits seamlessly into existing fire suppression frameworks. Our goal is to work hand-in-hand with firefighting organizations to ensure that every deployment delivers measurable improvements in safety, efficiency, and operational readiness.

Short-Term: Field Collaboration and Evaluation

Working alongside Incident Command (IC) and field operators will provide crucial hands-on feedback from end users. These trials will allow us to identify potential refinements, improve deployment procedures, and validate performance under live fire conditions. This adaptive, data-driven approach ensures the system continues to evolve to meet the needs of modern wildfire operations.

Mid-Term: Module Production and Distribution

Once the system is fully proven in field conditions, our next objective is to produce complete Remote Hydrant modules—self-contained units that include all required components for deployment. These modules will be distributed through existing equipment vendors already contracted with firefighting agencies for wildland operations. By leveraging established supplier relationships, we can ensure consistent access to the technology across multiple regions and agencies nationwide.

Long-Term: Scalable Deployment for Agencies and Communities

Our long-term vision expands beyond agency use to include deployable units for local governments, private landowners, and homeowner associations in high-risk areas. These ready-to-use systems require minimal training and can be stored and deployed quickly during emergencies. By empowering both firefighting agencies and communities, we aim to create a distributed network of water access points, improving resilience and response times during wildfire events.

Advancing the Future of Wildland Firefighting

Considering the ever-changing landscape of wildfires and the occasional strain on resources, we firmly believe that Remote Hydrants can significantly enhance water-shuttling operations in rural areas. This innovation has the potential to maximize productivity and potentially reduce the number of resources required to meet water supply needs.
